🚧

Please Note

This document only covers how you can integrate Infobip as a WSP in WebEngage. Please refer to Infobip's WhatsApp documentation for further details on their services.

As shown above:

Step 1: Click the Add WhatsApp Service Provider (WSP) Button/ Create (Plus) Button Placed on the top**

In doing so, you will be prompted by a configuration modal. Select Infobip from the first dropdown, WhatsApp Service Provider.

Step 2: Name your Configuration

Please add a user-friendly name that enables you to identify the appropriate WSP for a campaign while creating it. This comes in handy, especially when you have multiple accounts with the same WSP.

Step 3: Add WhatsApp Business Number

Please specify the verified phone number that you'll be using to send all your WhatsApp campaigns in this field.

Step 4: Add API Key

🚧

Here's how you can generate a new API Key for integrating WebEngage

Navigate to your Infobip dashboard to find your publicApiKey, add it in the configuration modal and click Add WSP. Please connect with your Infobip Account Manager for further assistance.

Step 5: Add WebEngage Webhook URL in Infobip Dashboard (Highly Recommended)

Adding the WebEngage Webhook in Infobip will enable us to receive delivery status notifications for each user. This includes campaign performance indicators like message delivered, failed, and queued.

Here's how you can go about it:

Step 5.1.: As shown below, you will find your Infobip integration under the section, Your WhatsApp Service Provider List.

Step 5.2.: Click the overflow menu placed on the extreme right, click View Webhook URL, and copy the link.

Step 5.3.: Paste the WebEngage Webhook URL under the relevant field in your Infobip dashboard and click Save. Please connect with your Infobip Account Manager for further assistance.

👍

Congratulations!

You've now successfully integrated Infobip with your WebEngage dashboard.

You can test the integration by creating a test WhatsApp campaign and sending it to a group of internal users (aka your teammates).
